Now-1/5: Titanic: The Artifact Exhibition – Great Lakes Science Center, Cleveland

Only one weekend remains for you to take in all that the Titanic: The Artifacts Exhibition has to offer. Experience first-hand the extensive and difficult journey of the Titanic through more than 250 authentic artifacts from articles of clothing to the china used on the ship with the logo of the White Star Line. Walk away from this exhibition with a new appreciation for a historical event you thought you knew so well.

1/4: Cuyahoga Valley National Park, Beginning Cross-Country Ski Workshop Kendall Lake Shelter, Boston Heights

Was learning a new sport on your New Year’s resolutions list? If so, start off this year with a major sense of accomplishment and try your hand at cross-country skiing. Learn the basics at the two-hour CVNP Beginning Cross-Country Ski Workshop, held with or without snow. You are strongly encouraged to bring your own equipment. There is a $10 fee if you bring your own equipment or a $15 fee for a 3 hour rental. Classes also held on Jan. 11 and Feb.1.

1/5-2/8: Joshua Seth’s “Beyond Belief” – Second Stage, Cleveland

Start off your year with a sharp intake of breath and a look of pure astonishment across your face. Joshua Seth’s “Beyond Belief: An Intimate Evening of Psychological Illusion” is a magic show that will hold you completely captivated. Watch as minds are read, predications come true and jaws hit the floor in amazement.
