NYE Packages:

Cleveland Pops: New Year’s Eve Concert and Dance at Severance Hall, University Circle Neighborhood – Dec. 31, 9pm
Ring in the New Year with the Cleveland Pops Orchestra at the 18th annual Cleveland Pops: New Year’s Eve Concert and Dance. Identical twins Will and Anthony Nunziata, will perform their “Broadway Nights” revue alongside the Cleveland Pops Orchestra in an evening of music, dance and laughter.  Guests can complete their NYE experience by staying at the Intercontinental Hotel or the Courtyard Marriott University Circle.

Hard Rock Café: Rockin’ New Year’s Eve, Hard Rock Café and The Renaissance Cleveland Hotel, Downtown Cleveland – Dec. 31, 6pm
Join The Renaissance Cleveland Hotel and Hard Rock Café Cleveland as they team up to celebrate the beginning of a New Year. The night includes a live performance by the “Hey Monea”, an appetizer buffet, drinks, a champagne toast at midnight, deluxe overnight accommodations and complimentary self-parking,. Hilton Garden Inn Cleveland-Twinsburg and Blue Canyon Kitchen and Tavern New Year’s Eve Package, Twinsburg – Dec. 31
Celebrate with the Hilton Garden Inn Cleveland-Twinsburg and Blue Canyon Kitchen and Tavern for their New Year’s Eve package. This package includes deluxe overnight accommodations, a full breakfast for two in the Garden Bar and Grille, late checkout, and dinner for two at Blue Canyon Kitchen and Tavern ($60.00 gift card). Windows on the River: New Year’s Eve 2013 and Hilton Garden Inn Cleveland-Downtown, W. Bank, the Flats – Dec. 31
This New Year’s Eve, Windows on the River’s NYE Party offers an open bar, hot hors d’ouevres, party favors, free parking and a champagne toast at midnight. VIP tickets give you all of that and access into the Greater Cleveland Aquarium, VIP lounge with top shelf liquor and beer, a souvenir picture in the aquarium, a “swag bag” and more. New Year’s Eve at The Lodge at Geneva-on-the-Lake – Dec. 31
Celebrate the New Year at The Lodge at Geneva-on-the-Lake. New Year’s Eve Celebration at The Ritz-Carlton, Cleveland, Downtown Cleveland –Dec. 31, 6:30pm-2am
Ring in 2014 in style by dining on an elegant five-course prix-fixe meal at The Ritz-Carlton’s award-winning restaurant, MUSE.  Then, head to the intimate and festive Lobby Lounge on 6 to celebrate the New Year with live music, dancing and party favors. The Lobby Lounge on 6 offers a menu of light dishes and a vast selection of spirits as you toast your way in the New Year. This music and dancing is open and available to the public.

NYE Parties:

Cleveland Rocks New Year’s Eve in Public Square – Dec. 31, 6pm (Gates open)
Kick off the New Year on Cleveland’s Public Square at Cleveland Rocks New Year’s Eve, presented by the Ohio Homecoming Groups. The event features live entertainment from EDM super-group Krewella, live ice sculpting, food trucks and special guest, Drew Carey, counting down the final seconds of the old year. Don’t miss this fantastic and free event which will also be broadcast on WOIO, 19 Action News and WUAB 43.

New Year’s Eve Celebration at the Cleveland Museum of Art, University Circle Neighborhood – Dec. 31, 9:30pm-1:30am
Party the old year away as you gaze upon the breathtaking completion of the Cleveland Museum of Art’s renovation and expansion at the New Year’s Eve Celebration. Throughout the evening, you can dance to the music of funk-soul-jazz band, Burnt Sugar Arkestra, while enjoying the new west wing galleries, an open bar and hearty hors d’oeuvres.

New Year’s Eve Party in Public Square at Pura Vida, Downtown Cleveland – Dec. 31, 4pm-1am

New Year’s Eve Celebration at Grand River Cellars Winery and Restaurant, Madison – Dec. 31, 6:30pm
This New Year’s Eve, enjoy dinner, dessert and drinks at Grand River Cellars Winery and Restaurant. The evening begins with light appetizers followed by a large buffet dinner featuring entrees including beef, chicken and seafood. Dancing begins at 8:30pm with the live band, Four Kings and a Queen. Enjoy snacks, late night dessert, and a bottle of wine per couple. A light breakfast will be served at 12:30pm. Reservations are required.

Trop-the-Halls New Year’s Eve at The Grog Shop, Coventry Village – Dec. 31, 9pm
Get your dance on at the Grog Shop’s
Trop-the-Halls New Year’s Eve which features musical performances by Tropidelic, Aliver Hall, Vibe & Direct and Gypsy Daze. The party kicks off at 9pm.

Local Rock NYE Bash at the Ohio City Masonic Temple, Ohio City Neighborhood – Dec. 31
The Woo Who Foundation is hosting a NYE bash at the Ohio City Masonic Temple (2831 Franklin at Fulton). Local Indie bands, Cloud Nothings and Filmstrip will ring in the New Year. Champagne is available free of charge or guests may order drinks from a cash bar. All proceeds go to the Woo Who Foundation, the breast cancer awareness group.

NYE Restaurant Specials:

Hyde Park New Year’s Eve Dinner, All Hyde Park Restaurants in the Cleveland Area – Dec. 31
Head to any Hyde Park Prime Steakhouses in the Cleveland area for a New Year’s Eve Dinner from 4pm-12am.  The two-course Early Autumn Nights menu will be offered until 6pm and the Sea & Shore three-course menu the rest of the evening. Their regular dinner menu will also be available.

Wonder Bar New Year’s Eve, Downtown Cleveland – Dec. 31
Celebrate the New Year at the Wonder Bar in Downtown Cleveland. Wonder Bar will open at 6pm to ring in the New Year. Guests must be 21. No cover charge.

NYE Family Friendly Events:

Great Lakes Science Center: New Year’s Eve Eve – Dec. 30, 7pm – 11:30pm
Celebrate the New Year with the kids one night early during Great Lakes Science Center Ninth Annual New Year’s Eve Eve. The family-friendly event features a unique indoor carpeted skating rink, and activities such as making fake polymer snow and watching fruitcake explosions. Families can explore the entire Great Lakes Science Center during the event. Also, two OMNIMAX® movies are included in the price of admission. Advanced reservations are suggested, as space is limited.

Grandparents in the Park: New Year’s Eve Nature Celebration, The West Woods Nature Center, Geauga – Dec. 31, 11am-12:30pm
Bring the grandchildren and celebrate New Year’s Eve at the West Woods Nature Center with fun nature-themed activities and snacks. Registration required. 

New Year’s Countdown Celebration at the Children’s Museum of Cleveland, University Circle – Dec. 31, 11am, noon, 1pm
Say goodbye to 2013 and ring in the New Year with the whole family at the New Year’s Countdown Celebration at Children’s Museum of Cleveland.  Party-goers can celebrate with noise makers and festive hats, and win prizes while dancing the day away at the DJ-led dance party.  Countdowns to the New Year will occur at 11am, noon and 1pm.  No reservations are needed.

Noon Year’s Eve at the Cleveland Metroparks Zoo and The RainForest – Dec. 31, 12pm
Bring the kids and celebrate 2014′s arrival during the day at the Seventh Annual Noon Year’s Eve party at Cleveland Metroparks Zoo. Festivities include the Noon Year’s Eve Wild Animal Show, making New Year’s ReZOOlutions, live music, ice sculpture demonstrations, costumed characters and more.

Walleye Madness at Midnight at Port Clinton – Dec. 31, 6pm-12am
Ring in the coming New Year in Port Clinton with a 20-foot, 600-pound fiberglass walleye at the “Madness at Midnight” Walleye Drop. Located 80 miles outside of Cleveland, the town of Port Clinton is home to a hearty population of walleye from Lake Erie waters nearby. To celebrate, the town uses a massive crane to lower a fiberglass walleye replica, approximately 30 times larger than the average walleye, at the stroke of midnight. Enjoy locally prepared specialties such as walleye chowder, walleye sandwiches, walleye cinnamon chips, and walleye popcorn. Mon Ami, a local winery, has even created a “Walleye White” wine to honor the city’s walleye reputation.

Snowball at the Great Wolf Lodge, Sandusky – Dec. 31
Celebrate the New Year at the Great Wolf Lodge in Sandusky. Offering activities ranging from a dance party to a balloon drop, and, of course, the Great Wolf Lodge waterpark, your family is sure to have a wild time.

First Night Akron in Downtown Akron – Dec. 31, 6pm-12am
Downtown Akron hosts First Night Akron, a family-friendly celebration of the arts.  Enjoy indoor entertainment and fun for all ages throughout downtown Akron featuring the region’s best in music, dance, theater, visual and interactive arts. Everything pauses at midnight for the explosive fireworks display in front of Lock 3 on Main Street. Admission is $10, children under the age of ten are free.
