ABC the Tavern – With a mysterious vibe, exposed brick walls and an unassuming atmosphere are the elements that have kept Ohio City’s ABC, the Tavern, in operation for more than 20 years with a second location in University Circle. Bar Cento – Inspired by the Romans and their love affair with neighborly, warm cafés and restaurants, Bar Cento, located in Ohio City, offers up a menu with eclectic pizzas (voted best pizza in Ohio by The Food Network Magazine), pom frittes and other small plate offerings that pair perfectly with their craft beer list.

Buckeye Beer Engine – Lakewood’s Buckeye Beer Engine celebrates beer by specializing in rare, quality drafts.  Inside the little pub, there’s always nearly 30 exceptional local and microbrews on tap, and countless hard-to-find brews in bottles. Not to mention, their burgers are simply incredible.

Der Braumeister — Wienerschnitzel, potato pancakes and the like, Der Braumeister on the west side of Cleveland has all your German favorites. The eatery’s name is German for “The Brew Master,” and lives up to its reputation as a great place to drink beer – more than 180 varieties.

Beachland Ballroom – Nationally-acclaimed concert club located in Cleveland’s burgeoning Waterloo Arts District on the east side,  Beachland’s the real Cleveland experience with two venues (tavern and ballroom), an unbelievable beer selection including classic and cult brews, tasty food and an awesome jukebox.

Flannery’s Irish Pub – Pouring the “perfect pint” since 1991, this classic Irish pub is located in the trendy East Fourth Street Entertainment District. Great for a pre-game experience or just for a quick happy hour.

The Grog Shop – Get to The Grog Shop featuring a booming music scene showcasing not only local bands, but some of the best underground rock bands in the nation, with an incredibly intimate viewing experience. While there, you can miss their amazing selection of hard-to-find and retro brews. The perfect complement to a night of rock and roll!

Grovewood Tavern and Wine Bar – In addition to more than 120 bottles of wines, Grovewood Tavern and Wine Bar located on Cleveland’s east side features an impressive rare craft beer list, as well as unique beer dinners every other month with multiple courses paired with beers.

Happy Dog - At Gordon Square’s ultra-retro, old-fashioned bar, The Happy Dog, sit back and enjoy the massive selection of more than 75 beers and 20 taps paired with live music including the kitsch “Polka Happy Hour.” Not to mention gourmet hot dogs, created by 2010 James Beard Foundation semifinalist Chef Eric Williams, with at least 50 toppings options one any given night.

The Harp – Take a seat at this famous Cleveland pub’s beautiful patio where old-world charm meets city life.  The Harp features an unbeatable view of Lake Erie, a menu packed full of Irish goodies, more than ten draughts and six mixed draughts and live music throughout the week.

La Cave Du Vin – Translated “The Wine Cave,” this unique east side wine bar is located underneath a popular music club and is known for its unique international selections of both beer and wine. Beer connoisseurs tout La Cave Du Vin’s eclectic and international beer varieties served by an educated staff.

McNulty’s Bier Markt – Located in Cleveland’s brewery district, Ohio City, McNulty’s Bier Markt is a Sam McNulty creation featuring more than 100 Belgian and American craft beers and 300 rotating drafts. Ohio’s only Belgian bier bar, McNulty’s Bier Markt features a downstairs speakeasy style lounge and an extensive menu.

Nano Brew – With covered bike parking, a repair station stocked with tools and a helmet-wearing discount on drinks, it’s no surprise Ohio City’s Nano Brew is popular among the biking crowd. This one-barrel brewhouse and restaurant features an extensive menu and 24 beers on draft, some being the experimental brews made on-site to other local craft brewery products.

Prosperity Social Club – Located in an original 1938 barroom in the neighborhood of Tremont, Prosperity Social Club is a low-key hangout that offers an extensive beer list and menu with old-school, local and ethnic selections as well as a retro bowling machine, a well-loved jukebox and live music throughout the week.

The Tremont Tap House – The Tremont TapHouse is a gastro pub boasting a meticulous and extensive selection of handcrafted American and European beers. The menu offers upscale cuisine with gourmet sandwiches, pizzas and chops using the freshest of ingredients. Enjoy the 2,000-square-foot patio during the warm weather months.
