Celebrate the Cleveland Convention Center Opening
The time has come for the long awaited Cleveland Convention Center to open and you’re invited!
On Saturday, June 15 from 10am-4pm, the new Cleveland Convention Center opens its doors to the public for the “Celebrate the Center: Community Open House and Celebration” event to show the community first-hand the newly-completed state-of-the-art center.
In addition to a look at the magnificent one-million square foot facility, guests can expect an abundance of family-friendly activities and entertainment. The first 1,000 attendees ages 16 and over will receive a commemorative lunch tote bag and the first 1,000 children will receive a commemorative Convention Center plastic telescope. Slider, Chomp and other team mascots will be on hand offering free hugs, high fives and photo ops. And, guests can expect alumni appearances and autograph sessions from the Cleveland Browns, Cleveland Indians and Cleveland Cavaliers. The day’s events also include interactive games, kid’s clinics and ticket info from Cleveland’s three major league professional sports teams
