Military Discounts

Cleveland Plus appreciates those who serve our country in military service. Many organizations offer free or discounted admission to veterans, active duty members and family of active duty US Armed Forces, with proper military I.D.

In celebration of #MarineWeek 2012 being held in Cleveland, Ohio June 11-17 we’ve compiled a list of available military discounts.

Blue Star Museums is a program that offers free admission to museums for all active duty, National Guard and Reserve military personnel and their families, from Memorial Day through Labor Day, to 1,600 art exhibits, science centers, and amazing museums all over the nation.  Blue Star Museums in Cleveland are:

Burning River Roller Girls
On Sat, June 16th, The Burning River All-Stars and the HazMat Crew take on the Tri-City Roller Girls from Kitchener, Ontario, at the Wolstein Center, Cleveland. Cedar Point Amusement Park
Cedar Point offers a military discount rate of $36.99 for a one-day Cedar Point ticket to active or retired members of the Armed Forces, as well as honorably discharged veterans. The discount also applies to family members or others in the group. There is a limit of 6 discounted tickets per service member. One of the following is required as proof for discounted admission: Active Duty I.D., Retired Personnel I.D., VA Medical System Picture I.D., Copy of DD-214 discharge papers (copies) along with a photo I.D. (driver’s license, etc) for confirmation. This discount is available at any ticket booth at Cedar Point with the presentation of a valid I.D.; military discount tickets must be used on the day they are purchased. The discount is also valid for members of the Coast Guard, US National Guard, Military Reserves, and the Canadian and English Military. If the military person is currently deployed, the family members are eligible for the military discount as long as they show a current military family I.D. when purchasing tickets.
